To install the TV-LINK:
Setting the Sky box
Ideally at this stage you need to be able to stand in front of the Sky box and see the TV screen. Both should be on and connected together.
On the Sky remote press “services” on the remote,
then “system setup”,
then “01 select” which brings up the “Installer Setup” menu.
Select “RF outlets”,
on the “RF outlets” menu highlight “RF power supply” and change this to “on” using the sideways arrows,
highlight “save new settings” and select.
Finally press “backup” until you are back on a tv channel.
If you are only using one TV, install it in it’s new position.
First you need to run a piece of co-ax from the sky box to the TV at the Sky box end this needs an RF plug and at the TV end it will need an “f” connector.
At the Sky box
The cable to the TV-LINK should be connected to the “RF out-2” socket on the Sky box.
At the TV
The aerial plug on the TV-LINK should be plugged into the aerial socket on the TV.
The “f” connector on the TV-LINK should be connected to the cable coming from the Sky box. Place the small sensor unit on top of the TV
The red light on the TV-LINK should now be on.
Plug in the TV and if necessary tune it into the Sky box.
You should now be able to use all the Sky remote functions by pointing the remote at TV-LINK sensor
