So the good news is that iPlayer for Freesat HD boxes will be available for beta testing later this month, according to Rahul Chakkara’s BBC blog .

The bad news for ex-pat brits is that it’s an internet based service so presumably the service will not be available outside of the UK due to the rights restrictions
