Can I get the Irish tv + radio too?
Do I need any kind of authorisation to put a dish on my (17th century) house?

RTE radio is free and available on whatever box you choose, RTE TV is on Sky Ireland subscription only.
Generally in France you won’t need permission to put a dish on your house, it does depend a little on where you live. If your house is in an historic town then you may need to site your dish discetely. Dishes can usually be hidden from view.
    Hope that helps.
